Support
Birdsacre has been a part of Ellsworth for almost 70 years! We are honored to have hosted children who are now parents (or grandparents!) and bringing their own children to experience the wonders of nature at Birdsacre. There are many ways to be involved with Birdsacre – explore, experience, donate, volunteer, partner, or hold your event here.
Donate
Birdsacre is entirely dependent on patron support for our operation – from daily feeding of our Avian Ambassadors to maintenance of grounds and trails. As we receive no Federal or State assistance, your one-time, annual, or monthly gift is deeply appreciated. Your gift helps feed and care for our resident birds, supports the upkeep and improvement of facilities, grounds, and trails, preserves Cordelia’s legacy of photographs and journals, and provides educational opportunities for residents of Ellsworth and beyond. Consider becoming a donor today.
Volunteer
Are you interested in blazing trails? Do you like gardening? Is carpentry your hobby? Do you enjoy sharing about nature and birds with the public? Is history “your thing?” Not sure what you like to do, but want to work with a fun team of volunteers? If you - or you and your family or organization - have 3 or more hours a week that you can contribute, consider volunteering at Birdsacre!
Birdsacre’s Wish List
From egg cartons and paper towel tubes to engage our Avian Ambassadors, to every-day items like paper towels and dish soap, you can help support the daily activities at Birdsacre with items on our wish-list!
